- Natural Variations: The Client acknowledges that natural materials such as marble, granite, solid wood veneers, and fabrics display inherent variations in grain, texture, and color shading. These natural characteristics are not considered manufacturing defects.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glossy Interior, its directors, employees, or sub-contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the project execution, including delays caused by:
- Labor strikes, local socio-political lockouts, or transport disruptions.
- Material shortages from national manufacturers.
- Natural calamities, severe weather anomalies, epidemics, or acts of God (Force Majeure).
- Delays by the Client in choosing materials, finalizing finishes, or clearing milestone invoices.
7. Termination of Contract
- By the Client: The Client may terminate the project contract at any point by giving 7 days' prior written notice. At Glossy Interior ("we," "our," "us," or "Company"), we strive to deliver exceptional design concepts and turnkey execution solutions. Because our interior design services, custom modular furniture, wood fabrications, and material selections are highly personalized and made-to-order for your specific site layout, our operations follow a strict financial structure.
By paying the initial design advance, booking amount, or any milestone invoice, you ("Client") acknowledge and agree to the following Refund and Cancellation terms.
1. Cancellation Policy
A. Initial Design & Booking Phase
- Before Commencement of Design Work: If the Client requests a cancellation within 24 hours of paying the initial booking/token advance, and no physical site measurement or design ideation has commenced, a 75% refund of the token amount will be processed. The remaining 25% will be retained as administrative processing overheads.
- After Site Visit or Conceptualization: Once our design team visits the project location, takes structural dimensions, or generates initial 2D space plans and mood boards, the Booking Advance becomes 100% non-refundable.
B. Production & Material Procurement Phase
- Post-Design Approval: Once the 2D layouts, 3D visualizations, and Material Specifications are finalized and signed off by the Client, the project moves into procurement and workshop production.
- At this stage, no cancellations are permitted. The Client is legally and financially obligated to clear outstanding milestone payments for raw materials (such as commercial plywood, laminates, and hardware) that have already been ordered or custom-cut at our factory workshops.
2. Refund Policy
Due to the personalized nature of luxury interior design and turnkey renovations, Glossy Interior does not offer cash or bank refunds once material manufacturing or site execution has commenced. However, we provide structural remedies under the following specific criteria:
A. Damaged or Defective Items (Factory Supply)
If any custom modular component, loose furniture piece, or fixture fabricated by us is found to be physically damaged, structurally defective, or completely mismatched from the approved sign-off sheet upon arrival at the site:
- The Client must report the variance to our site supervisor or email us at info@glossyinterior.com within 48 hours of material delivery.
- Remedy: Glossy Interior will completely repair, modify, or replace the defective component at our own cost. Cash refunds will not be issued for item mismatches; instead, an immediate replacement protocol will be activated.
B. Discontinuation of Material by Vendors
In rare circumstances where a specific laminate, fabric, veneer, or wallpaper chosen by the Client becomes permanently unavailable with the national manufacturer post-payment:
- We will immediately notify the Client and provide equivalent alternative selections.
- If the Client does not approve the alternatives, we will issue a 100% refund for that specific material component or adjust that exact financial value against the next project milestone invoice.
3. Delays and Force Majeure
Turnkey interior handovers require strict operational orchestration. While we target seamless execution, delays resulting from a Client’s delayed selection of finishes, structural building deficiencies, local housing society restrictions, or delayed milestone clearances do not qualify for discounts, penalties, or contract cancellations.
Neither party shall be liable for project pauses or structural cancellations resulting from Force Majeure events (e.g., natural calamities, government lockdowns, regional labor strikes, or socio-political anomalies). In such cases, timelines will be extended mutually without financial refunds.
4. Processing of Approved Refunds
In eligible cases where a partial refund or administrative rollback is approved in writing by the management of Glossy Interior:
- All refunds will be credited directly back into the original bank account, corporate account, or payment instrument used during the transaction. No cash refunds will be executed under any circumstances.
- The processing turnaround time for approved financial reversals is 7 to 10 business days from the date of formal written confirmation by our finance desk.
Thank you for choosing Glossy Interior ("we," "our," "us," or "Company"). This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines the logistics, handling, and handover processes for all structural components, custom modular furniture, raw materials, loose furniture, and decorative fixtures ordered for your project site through our platform (https://www.glossyinterior.com/) or via a signed Project Work Order.
Because our products comprise large-scale, custom-fabricated architectural elements and modular woodwork, our delivery mechanisms differ significantly from standard e-commerce parcel shipping.
1. Delivery Coverage Area
We primarily cater to project sites located across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad (PCMC), and neighboring regions within Maharashtra.
Delivery to project sites outside of these core regions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must be explicitly agreed upon in writing during the initial project sign-off. Additional long-distance freight charges will apply.
2. Order Processing & Production Timelines
Every interior element we supply is custom-made to match your site specifications. Production at our factory workshops begins only after:
- The final 2D/3D design plans are frozen and signed off by the Client.
- The structural site-measurement verification is completed by our supervisors.
- The respective material procurement milestone payment is cleared.
Standard factory fabrication for custom modular wardrobes, kitchens, and cabinetry typically takes 21 to 30 business days from the date of design sign-off and payment clearance.
3. Dispatch, Transit, and Shipping Charges
- Shipping Fees: Unless explicitly specified as "inclusive" within your finalized commercial quotation, transport vehicle charges, loading/unloading fees, and local octroi/entry taxes are billed additionally based on actual market rates at the time of dispatch.
- Delivery Schedule: Once your materials clear factory quality checks, our logistics team will connect with you to schedule a convenient delivery date. Material dispatch/Shipping happens between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM between 2-5 working days.
We do not dispatch materials without confirming site readiness and availability with the Client or the designated site representative.
4. Client Responsibilities for Site Delivery
To ensure a seamless unloading and delivery process, the Client must ensure the following conditions are met prior to the delivery vehicle arriving on site:
- SOCIETY PERMISSIONS: The Client must secure all necessary entry passes, No-Objection Certificates (NOCs), and vehicle entry approvals from the residential society management, builder, or estate managers. Any delay or vehicle retention fines caused by missing permissions will be billed to the Client.
- MATERIAL HOISTING/ELEVATORS: Access to service elevators capable of carrying large plywood panels and modular units must be provided. If elevators are unavailable or if the society restricts their use for material movement, manual lifting charges via staircases (above the ground floor) will be calculated and billed additionally as manual labor overheads.
- SECURE STORAGE: The Client must provide a clean, dry, lockable, and secure room or designated space on the project site to safely store delivered materials, hinges, hardware, and appliances, preventing damage from ongoing civil work, moisture, or dust.
5. Inspection and Handover Process
- On-Site Verification: Upon delivery at the project site, our site supervisor, alongside the Client or their authorized representative, will conduct a physical inspection of the material crates and components.
- Transit Damage: In the rare event that any component is found damaged or defective during transit, it must be noted immediately on the delivery challan or reported via email at info@glossyinterior.com within 48 hours.
- Remedy: Glossy Interior takes full responsibility for transit-related structural defects reported within this window and will arrange a factory replacement or rectification on priority. We are not liable for damages that occur to materials after a successful site delivery due to negligent storage or third-party handling on site.
6. Delays Beyond Our Control
While we maintain high logistical efficiency, dispatch and delivery timelines may shift due to external occurrences beyond our reasonable control, including which might take more that 3 to 5 working days.
- Severe weather anomalies, regional monsoon flooding, or natural disasters.
- Local political blockades, transport strikes, or sudden traffic restrictions enforced by municipal corporations.
- National raw material shortages from primary suppliers (e.g., specific hardware or specialized laminates).
In such events, our project managers will keep you updated with revised delivery timelines.
